Hair Treatment Post Care
So you got one of the following treatments done by us: Hair Botox, Keratin or Nanoplastia. Your hair care routine just became soooo much easier, you’ll no longer be fighting the frizzy, the unruly and the just plain uncooperative behaviour of your untreated hair. Blow dry time will be cut in half, styling will give you lusterous locks and your will love your hair again. The post care instructions for all of the treatments we offer: Hair Botox, Keratin and Nanoplastia are the same:
We will wash, blow dry and style your hair as part of the treatment cost. Please leave your hair dry for a min of 48 hrs, if you can leave it longer than that before washing….even better
You cannot do colour including lighting for 14 days prior to a treatment and 14 days after. All 3 treatments will affect the colour making it pull warm. We will usually suggest a treatment PRIOR to do doing a colour to ensure the hair is back to healthy if you have selected Hair Botox or already in it’s relaxed state as with Keratin or Nanoplastia.
No sulphate shampoos or conditioners, it will strip the treatment off the hair shaft. You shouldn’t be using shampoo or conditioners on your hair regardless. There are lots of things you can cut corners on to save money but hair care isn’t one of them. Spending more money on shampoo and conditioner on the front end is going to save you money on the back end.
Hair Botox, Keratin and Nanoplastia will last 4 to 6 months. None of them are a permanent treatment. You will know when it’s time to redo the treatment when the hair is starting to show signs of frizz or unwanted not so cute curl.
Prepare to be addicted…sometimes clients think we are suggesting Hair Botox, Keratin or Nanoplastia as a money grab. An opportunity to make some extra dollars on treatments that aren’t needed and really won’t make a difference. But once they have had the treatment they are SHOCKED at how smooth and manageable their hair is and a treatment they didn’t care for becomes a must have as part of the love affair with their hair.
